meet ms. mare

Born and raised in the tucked away corner of the United States, I wanted to start this blog as a guide for the new and old residents of the Pacific Northwest. 

I'm Ms. Mare. Gazelle Dun Mare. I've always loved the book, 'The Wind in the Willows' and loved that all the characters were named after their animal type. Throughout this journal and journey there will be other characters introduced but no real names will be revealed. I like to keep it all anonymous and instead of using real names, I wanted to give my friends and family code animal names and focus on the adventures.

With my lead horse, Mr. Mustang - we reside in the wine country town of Woodinville, just north of Seattle. Throughout our journey, we'll keep you posted on the current events happening in the Pacific Northwest region as well as our activities exploring other regions around the globe.
